I have been looking at Backstay adjusters because I have installed a cdi reefer furler and an adjuster is a good way to tighten the forestay. In reading up on their use they can make a significant impact on efficiency when used appropriately. Has anyone on the forum used one on a masthead rig ?

I have one if I ever get the boat into the water. Everything is done except rewiring the interior. I don’t wish to reuse the original location for my fuse panel. Decisions, decisions…… I’ll report on the backstay adjuster ASAP.
