One of those day I'll need a dinghy, most people with this size of boat seem to have inflatable but I dont especially like them

have any of you found a way to put a solid dinghy on deck?

These look good, I'll take the measuring tape and see how it would fit under the boom

try Boaters World, we bought the 10 ft hard dingy, the inflatable does not do well on coral, we have a 5 hp Nissan on it, also we carry a folding bike when we go ashore on another island, we tow it or put her on the bow.

I have a walker bay 8' dinghy that I have towed for over 7 years. It's been all around south florida and to the bahamas. While we lived on a boat it took my kids to school everyday and brought home the groceries. Its tops on my list.
