Update on the sunk 26

Post by njerrell »

Hello all, just a quick line on the progress being made,as you know the boat has been high and dry for a month or so,the repairs have been made to the hull in the rudder area,a quick and not so proffesional bottom job done, the interior stripped{not doing anything inside untill im sure she floats!!!!}and alot of cleaning, going to try to relaunch in a few days so wish me luck!! Also the foward sliding hatch was lost when she was down, has anyone had to replace or fabricate a new one or have a resource for a replacement? Thanks and hope everyone has fair winds

Your post made me go look up some old photos... maybe this will make you feel better...

We did get it sailing again about 4 months later... the only "hired" labor was the rebuilding of the diesel engine.
