Who made the spars on a 22?

Post by CaptainScott »

Anyone here know who made the masts on a Chrysler 22?
I'm looking to buy a gooseneck from RIGRITE.COM but I presume they will want to know the manufacturer of the spar!

Thanks for any input!

Pretty sure it was Kenyon. I searched around when I went through my masthead rebuild and spreader bracket replacement on my 26 and found a good listing of cross-sections at www.rigrite.com. The 26 seems to use the Kenyon 3049; not sure if the 22 uses the same model, having not inspected closely, but at first glance it looks right.

http://www.rigrite.com/spars/kenyon_spa ... -mast.html shows the mast, and gives specs, and some gooseneck options are toward the bottom of the page. They have a replacement sail track gate, too. The masthead on my 1978 is a cast affair, while the masthead fittings shown here seem to match those found on the 1979 and 1980 models.
