Nice looking boat. Im interested in how you modified the swing keel.

Hi and thanks,
I try to keep her looking as good as she sails.
Actually, all I did was to add a cup flange, one with a screw off cap to the inside of each keel pin hole in addition to changing the mounting plates on the water side of the holes. Coupled with the "excessive" use of 5200 sealant, I completely eliminated any and all leaks and seeping.
I also replaced the manual winch with an electric one that raises and lowers the keel with no effort. Of course the cable has to be clearly marked to indicate when the keel approaches the hull so as to avoid bringing the keel INTO the boat.....this of course would not be a good thing!
I hope this answers your question?
