Covered in snow

I am trying to post pics of my 2 boats with

First of all, you have to remove the "flickr" that is before the "HTTP" statement. Then it will work as a web link or URL not an img.

I don't see where Flickr offers a "link to Photo" type service but since I'm familiar with this, I snaged the file name and posted it here for you.

I use shutterfly sometimes. They offer a "Link to Photo" service where you can copy a link directly to the photo and post it.

Nice shot! Our snow is finally gone! YEAH!

what is the domain for shutterfly? I do like your photos and would like sometime to get to northwest

Using the method I did is about the hardest method to use.
THIS WORKS , IS VAGUE, and assumes you are familiar with this type of work. This IS NOT the prefered or easy method.

to display the photo from flicker I needed the URL to the file. to start, I needed the flickr file name.

so I put my mouse over your photo at flicker and did right mouse click and then "save as"

this brought up a window with the file name in it. I did NOT save the file. I copied the file name into the windows buffer.

I closed that window without saving. Then with the mouse over the flickr page I did a "View" and then "source". The window that popped up I did a search for the file name I had stored in the windows buffer. This took me to the full URL of just the picture itself.

I then posted the link to the photo itself to get the photo to display here as an IMG..

Id love it if you or anyone found some sails for me! I was quoted 500 each for new ones. I don't have the cash but I may have to get at least a new main if I don't find some used soon.

Shutterfly is a free site too for web hosting photos. I have since started hosting my own photos. When you check my gallery, that is software I write and is hosted on my site.

The Pacific Northwest is a beautiful place. Puget Sound and North are ideal sailing grounds. Anytime you are here, let me know and look us up! Come on by and we'll take a nice afternoon or evening sail!!

I'm pretty easy to find! Just "google captain scott sailing" ! LOL!

Hey Lyle,

put this line below in your first post but remove the spaces in the IMG brackets IE make look like [img]
That should get the photo in your first post. I had to pust spaces in to avoid the photo displaying insted of the text.

I signed up on shutterfly and when I learn what I am doing I will get more
photos uploaded got 3 of a tug going through the Ice.
I have a sister inlaw that live in Walla Walla. I will check with Norm over the weekend so hold off on cutting till you hear from me. My 170 is only good for patching and my 150 has some stains and a small hole near the tack but it is usable and I am in the same boat (no punn intended) Money is in short supply. When the small boat gets sold I will be in better shape but both boats were a total cost of $1500 so I cannot complain but money is tight. Have a great day to you and family

Thank you for teaching an old dog a new trick. I appreciat it and I appreciate all I have learned from all about Chrysler sailboats and to think all my life I was a Mopar nut.
