No, I didn't forget you guys. I just have been super busy with work. No sailing, but I was for 3 months in the south of Iraq, in the city of Basra, and I used to go on missions to the river.
Hope everybody its doing ok. If any of you guys want to see what I've been doing since Oct. please go to this link:

I have always liked photography, but in here it became a passion.
Talk to you guys later!

Gus!! Great to hear from you! While "I've been super busy at work" describes my situation well, I'll bet it doesn't even come close to describing what you've faced.
Thank you for your service to our nation, Gus. How much longer is your tour there? Is it likely you'll be redeployed for another?
I've seen some of your wonderful pics before, and appreciate the reminder link. Some great work there. Now you need to get back to this side of the pond and work on some fresh sailing photos. Pirates 2008 was great, but would have been even better had you been able to join us.
Fair winds and smooth seas, my friend!

Hey Gus,
Great to hear from you! Saw one of your posts on the NC pirates site.
Glad to hear your doing well. Any ideas when you get home?
Did you sell your C-22 or did you decide to keep it? Hope you kept it.
I still want to meet w/ you in Albemarle Sound someday in NC.
Making plans now to go 3rd wk of Mar. Should be good weather by then.
Best wishes from Ohio

Hello again! thanks for the replies, wow, it must be winter back home, nobody sailing

I kept the boat, it didn't sell. Before I left the economy went down the tubes, and I didn't had a lot of people interested, and I understand. The boat still in NC under tarps. I'm sorry I missed the Pirates 2008, I bet it was a blast, and I'm looking forward Pirates 2009, recommended event if you want to attend!!
I don't know yet when I'm going home, and this is hard to believe, but I'm having fun in here. I like this place, and what I do, and the people (most of them anyways) are really cool towards us (specially kids)
