Had our Work Day/Annual Poker Run today, beautiful day, nice wind in the morning, but by the time we all got out that afternoon for the run, it had all gone away ! Desperate times call for desperate measures....so..

I have that exact same fan. How fast can you go with it on high?

Inquiring minds, it was the 12v cabin fan.

Maybe I should indeed bring the shop 120 VAC turbo fan next time

I'm not an electrical engineer, but I've tested this out:

120v fan on an inverter. Have you tried out a 120v multiple speed fan on a non digital inverter? It's kinda neat that the fan won't change speeds. On higher end digital inverters, it works like you would expect.
