to carpet or not

I to am undesided about flooring, Im thinking of vinyl but then making fitted carpet rugs that snap or velcrow down. It would be nice to remove and kleen rugs and floor, and remove carpet during long storage.

I do like the double baffle idea. I am thinking that tighting the top hose clamp down around the cable would slow it down, but also would cause wear at the top and possibly bottom if it were to pull or push on the hose when swinging the ...

Hey All

I Have water spiting out the top of my swing keel thru-hull fitting hose not alot and if keel is lowerd abit it stops. Peeking thru the small holes I can see the cable exiting the hose with a clamp that seems loose.Easy fix it looks, only snag is getting to the clamp. The nut faces the ...

Have you thought about cuttting it here and having it welded when you get it, I think Dale said you only need about a foot or so. I live near Dale and have bought some of his parts. I would think welding and cleaning the repair up can't be over 100.00 bucks ? just a thought. :D

cutting the transom might weaken it , but you can renforce it with new material. I am thinking of using trex decking 2x6 , its a plastic type stuff
with wood fibers water prof and some what flexible

I have a 78 C26, with a 2009 yamaha 9.9 high thrust , I rebuilt the mount and extended it out 8'' . have not got it back on yet, to see if it will at least let me get the lower unit out of the water
