Grey whales are back in Possession Soundt outside of Everett.
Saturday after working on Lady Jo we took Destiny out in 15-20 kt winds for a beautiful sail! we were greated just outside the break water by a large grey whale rolling and spouting! we followed him for a while since some of the guests aboard had not seen greys before from a boat.

We did get several hours of beautiful sailing in and managed to get Destiny back and secure just in time to walk to the cars in a rain squall!


I did not have my camera with me but I understand my neighbor got some great shots!

That is cooool~~

One thing I liked about being on a sailboat in Maui and the whales is how well you can hear them spouting and singing. Totally differant than on a power boat....
