Time for some Trailer Talk

I have an EZ Loader with rollers all around. I'll get some pictures this weekend, but may have to send them directly to you because I haven't figured out how to make my file sizes small enough to use here (that's why I have no avatar). I looked at the EZ Loader site, but they only show powerboat style trailers.

Paul, where we're expecting snow again, in Denver.

Hi, I got all my parts from
www.trailerpartsdepot.com . I reworked a power boat trailer with their parts. It worked out great. Very easy to deal with and good prices.
They may have what you are looking for.

You should be able to find that size tube at a local metal recycle yard for penneys on the pound. I had to purchase a peice of three inch tube at four foot for the winch stand for my converted trailer and it was only $8.00. Did a little welding for mounting and, presto. Worked like a charm. I would have said are-cycle yard or metal supply contractor but sad to say the large re-cycle yard here will no longer sell to the public and the large metal supply compony here is shuting down,

But I would think that you could ask any fabrication shop where to find that size tubing... it would be much more fun if you had a local street-rod shop to ask.. Have you looked at National tool or Tractor supply store.
(sorry if these are just east coast chains)

Now would be the time to look for Por 15 .

I am pretty sure my supports were costume made. I added the aluminum bracing and replaced the pads with the long bunks.

I'm not saying it's better or worse, but I used boat stand tops for mine. It gives me very good adjustability. Prices of stand tops vary widely, but I got mine from Hostar. One reason I stayed with pads rather than long bunks is my current project, bottom painting.

Hey Alan,
A local hotrod shop is not a bad idea. There is one on highway 99 in south Everett but they are VERY proud of their work and the prices reflect it.

Maybe just hitting a metal fabricator in Marysville? They would be cheaper the further North you go! Maybe even Stanwood?

Also wasn't there a trailer builder right there in Dagmars? Maybe they can do something?

Farmers build this type of stuff all the item on there tactors and equipment. Another resource for square tubing could be a farm implement dealer, ie John Deere
