How high?

Do any of you have your boat handy to tell me how high the winch eye on the front of your boat is above the frame of your trailer. Right now my winch is only about 18" above the frame on my trailer, but the pillar it is bolted to is open on top so I can add height to it fairly easy.

On my C22, the bottom of my winch eye is 40 in, and the top is 41 1/2. This is measured from the frame top, and the boat is sitting on the trailer pretty good.

That does help. I remember some discussion earlier between two of us who were widely divergent in their heights. I believe it came down to the fact that one was sitting much higher on the trailer as well.

My Chrysler trailer is 38" and 39 1/2" from the top of the frame.

28 1/2 from frame (32 1/2 from top of axles). I moved mine down from the factory location.
