Four C-22's

As my wife and I were strolling around the marina the other day, she said to me..look over there besides mikes chrysler 22..thers another one..

and believe it or not she was right( as the wives will tell you they are always right) I cant believe that she spotted it before I did well to make a long story short, we now have 4 C-22's ad 1 C-26 in our marina, which has me thinking that I need to get to know these other chrysler sailors, in order to accomplich my new mission...

How cool would it be to get a photo of these four chryslers all togather under sail...

We have three C22s and two C26s at our club. However, one of the C22s looks neglected while another one may be abandoned.

I feel like I need to start a Chrysler rescue program similar to what people do specific breeds of dogs.

I figure there theres a great one it's http://www.chryslersailors.com, my C-22 is not the only one that has been abandon/neglecter for more then a decade that has been rescued. There seems to be alot of Chrysler sailboats and I'm sure that there are going to me more new people coming in . I like telling other sailors and non sailors alike about my 2.

That is how I found my C-26 and I think she has had more attention in the last 2 1/2 years than the last 2 decades before I got it. I have seen a C-22 11 miles away an trying to find it's owner.

It's my understanding from the PO that "Happy Place" spent 15 years in a field before he bought it.
Just think of all the wear and tear that has been saved. 32 year old boat used only 17 years...and then deduct time spent in winter storage

Mine was sitting alongside a welding shop for the last 5 years...It was traded to the PO for some work on a trailer for another boat, until my wife spotted it last march

Just got back from a long Memorial Day vacation in Tenn. and as expected mostly yard work. I did walk around the nearest marina on Watauga Lake, while the wife and daughter went to town. To my pleasant surprise I counted not one, but six Chrysler Sailboats. One c20, two c22's and three c26's, sadly not all were in the best of shape. Not a bad representation of a sailboat family that went out of production in 1980.

Mine was like capt Bondos and sat more then 15 years, I just happen to catch 2 of the Po's in the same place when I told them I was sailing it and I wish I had gotten the looks on thier faces when they were looking at pictures of it in the water.

Wow, six in one place at one time. I still have yet to see a C-26 in the flesh... or fiber glass as it were. I hear one is moored on Widby Island but I have yet to go see it.

I finally got the graphics for the stern of my C22 " MY TYME" ...There is local guy who is trying to get his business rolling, so I descided to send him a layout of what I would like the name on my boat to look like.

well I just picked it up an hour ago, and I cant wait to see it on the boat....

I will post the picture later this week, the weather is less than desirably at the present time...Rain,Rain and more rain....

Does anyone know what the size and color of the original CHRYSLER logo should be? I would like to have those back on my boat as well...
