Whisker pole

Anyone out there know the length of whisker pole used on a C22

My C22 came with an adjustable whisker pole that works good.

I have a spinnaker pole but no spinnaker, wouldn't even know how to rig it anyways so I use the whisker pole with my 110 and 150. Its easy to use and pretty quick to setup.

You noted/linked a pole that was 4 to 8 feet, I was thinking of a 6 to 12.
Does the 4 to 8 handle your 150?

Mine is probably closer to a 5-10' but there is no label so I am not sure of the brand. A 6-12' would probably work better on the 150. It's pretty rare for me to need fly the 150 on Mille Lacs so what I have works.

My boat came with an adjustable wisker pole, but I have never used it. How do you rig one up to the jib? One end has a hook that looks like it could attach to a ring on the mast. Does the other end go through the grommet that the sheets are tied to?

One end in the mast ring the other in the grommet or the eye of the sheet. Then you can use it to keep the jib or genoa winged out on the opposite side of the main on a down wind run. Wing to wing.

Looks like winds from the north at 10 mph locally, so I don't think I'll be able to use the wisker pole this weekend... but the wind will die around here soon enough.
