Going coastal...

Post by Windward »

Unless something differs seriously from plan (like THAT ever happens) I'm going to finish up some SQL I'm working on, then pack my clothes, load the truck and go coastal. Pamlico Sound, that is. Saturday I'll provision, stow, attend to a couple of minor details and find someplace nice to anchor.

I get a week solo. Points between Oriental, Belhaven, Manteo, Ocracoke, Cape Lookout and perhaps even Masonboro Inlet / Wrightsville Beach are possibles, but itinerary is largely dependent on weather, which has of late been interesting there. I'll pick up my wife & son sometime (late afternoon?), somewhere (Oriental or Beaufort) on the following Saturday, then swap crews again the following Thursday PM / Friday AM (Oriental? Beaufort? Ocracoke?)

If I have time, inclination and internet connectivity, I may post some pics on Facebook http://facebook.com/jeff.arnfield or YouTube http://www.youtube.com/user/svWindward Picasa http://picasaweb.google.com/110270774510882162652 may also work, but haven't tested and probably won't be taking the time just now... higher priorities to address 8)
