sailing Ft Myers

Post by Terry Watts »

In a few weeks we are going to haul Soggy Dollar our C-26 from Texas to the Ft Myers area. Anyone know of a book or site for nice anchorages

sounds to me like you need a cruising guide. I'd never cruise without one. They're made for specific areas. Google them.

Hey everyone knows I love a good deal. I'd take Bansi's Active Captain at https://www.activecaptain.com/ first. I like it a lot. I first found it discussed in a magazine called Small Craft Adviser. It's free I joined Active Captain, I joined in on the BETA phase of the Web site. I like it a lot.

As for cruising guides... You bet, every cruising guide I can get my hands on... And charts too One good wack on the keel taught me to look much closer at a chart, before I venture into a new area. :D

Thanks
Alan
