I will heed such well-salted advice.
Could you ask him about Keel-banging in waves? I haven't even sailed my boat yet... bought it this fall, just before winter... but that's an "experience" question. Thinking of an 800 pound keel "banging" anything makes me break out in hives. How is such an engineering problem resolved/ minimized? Is it even true? What about a serious blow?
