I'm glad to help where I can however lets not forget our feerless Admin Emergency Exit or "EE" as we like to refer to him as!
Credit where credit is due . . . While I was working with the owner, EE was feverishly working to assure we could somehow contact each of you to update you.
Please consider this:
Some folks are not aware that the site is up and functioning. I am also aware some folks still can not access the Chrysler Forum. If you have friends on the forum you have not heard from, please contact them offsite and let them know we are up and running again.
A couple of things they might want to try if they still can not accus the site.
1 tell them to clear the cache on their browser or when they load the page to press the "shift" key and then click the site "refresh" key to get access.
IF that still does not work, they may want to consider changing their DNS server to the Google DNS server. Google those words to see how to do it. It is very easy to do.
Lastly, you are all very welcome! The site is as benifitial to me as it is you so there is a bit of selfishness going there! LOL!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHH...
Never do that AGAIN! Sob
Holly CR@$! Captain Scott had to come over to my house and PRY ME out of the fetal position, rocking in the corner, and sobbing early Saturday morning. He knew there was only one possible methadone for the Chrysler Sailors Forum withdrawal.
***CHRYSLER SAIL BOAT SHOPPING*** Tell the story Scott, tell the story, PLEASE, tell the story!
Thank you so much for the Saturdays intervention Captain Scott and getting the site back up and running.
Thanks
Alan
P.S. Now I have to get a ream of paper and start printing forum posting with data I NEED to maintain my boat properly. No, I'm going to need a case of paper, I'm off to Costco.

Withdrawal
Withdrawal can refer to any sort of separation, but is most commonly used to describe the group of symptoms that occurs upon the abrupt discontinuation/separation or a decrease in dosage of the intake of Chrysler Sailors, and/or alcohol. In order to experience the symptoms of withdrawal, one must have first developed a physical dependence (often referred to as chemical dependency). This happens after consuming one or more of these substances for a certain period of time, which is both dose dependent and varies based upon the drug consumed. In fact, the route of administration, whether on line or otherwise, can also play a role in determining the severity of withdrawal symptoms. There are different stages of withdrawal as well. Generally, a person will start to feel worse and worse, hit a plateau, and then the symptoms begin to dissipate. However, withdrawal from certain web sites can be fatal and therefore the abrupt discontinuation of any type of browsing is not recommended.[citation needed] The term "cold turkey" is used to describe the sudden cessation use of a substance and the ensuing physiologic manifestations.....

Thanks to Scott and EE!!
The info available to us on this site would have been a shame to lose!
Glad things are back to abby normal!
One thing I learned is I had only Scott and Alan's phone #'s to contact anybody here, that was not good. SO, I think I'll start a thread on E-mail contacts so we know know to get hold of each other w/o having to refer to the site. All of your info was here, and I couldn't access it to see if there was anything I could do to help...

whew! I had trid to email Richard DuVal, with the email address registered with WhoIs but didn't get anything back. I thought maybe something happened to him. Glad someone got in touch with him!
I had to clear the cache on my DNS server at work, fluch dns on my local computer, and clear the Internet Cache on my browser to finally get back to something beside the expired page.
So do we need to setup banner ads or something to help pay for the website now?

Now where were we -
FYI for the group I do a full backup on the site on a regular basis, so should we ever have a total meltdown the collective knowledge of the Chrysler Borg is intact for all time...
Oddly enough I can get in now on my desktop at home, but so far my laptop refuses all efforts at getting away from the "domain expired " page.
Thank to Capt Scott for catching up with Rich, and of course thanks to Rich for footing the bill to keep the site online for many years now. Thanks to Windward for always stepping up and offering his help and knowledge as well !
And all you guys , every last member of you, can sail on my boat anytime you want.

SPECIAL THANKS to Capt. Scott, EE, and Windward for restoring this wonderful site, and letting me know that this forum was not washed away by a tsunami.
It's going to be great to get this group of tightly focused folk back talking about restoring and sailing Chrysler Sailboats

I can claim no credit for site restoration, just fielded a couple of questions from concerned users. 69Shark and EE get the kudos for work well done.

EE and any others having a problem with individual PC's, try this:
Open a command prompt (start, run, cmd).
type (without quotes) "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter.
That might help.
