Finally got a chance to test out my outboard. Stardust isn't on the water yet, so had to make do....

Well now, that is a heck of a thing! Inspired really. I bet the motor displaces more than the boat.

Ah but ever safety conscious as I am... I don't see a proper life vest. Everything else I will let slide but I must insist on a PDF for future outings on that rig.

I love it.

Red Green show! Yeah! That what it looks like! Oh wait, after further consideration, I see no duct tape! Is that Herold driving?

LOL!

Another favorite quote.

"And remember if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy"

Always viewed that show as proof that there's much difference between the men in the frozen north and those in the steamy south !!

We still get re-runs of Red Green on PTP 2 out of the Twin Cities on Friday night at 10:00.
I love Red, for showing me how NOT to do something.

Where do you call home, Potomic Fever?

Just visited a buddy of mine down in Frederick a couple weeks ago. He toured us around a bit. Checked out the C&O canal viaduct right near the Potomic. Just wondering how close we ended up to each other.

Ah, yes... The Possum Lodge meetings in the basement, good times.

and remember Red's friend Bill and there adventures filmed in black and white with no sound as I recall, Red doing the voice over, usually revolving around Red's panel van.  Now that's entertainment.

Thanks I needed that!

Mark, We're still a ways from where you were. We are well below the fall line by Montross, VA. Always wanted to checkout the C&O. What'd you think of it?

How many of you keep the "handyman's secret weapon" (duct tape) on board the boat?

Hey Laura-

We were at the Monocacy aquaduct area. Very well preserved! But you should check out some of the parks documents that explain the level of effort in building this thing. Very impressive!

Oh I go with the far more sophisticated roll of electrical tape. (Picture nose in the air and a roll of Duck Tape in the starboard lazeret.)  8)

Of course I have Duck Tape on board, it's a moral imperative my friend, not just practical. Oh, and stylish...

Thanks
Alan

Of course I have duck tape on board, but it's blue to match the highlight color of the boat... now that is style 8)

If duct tape was good enough for the Apollo program, it's certainly good enough for my old ride. :D
