New bronze through hull and washdown pump

Post by gregcrawford »

For those of you who may be interested in replacing their old plastic galley through hulls, here is what I did. The old one was a sinking waiting to happen.

See it here:

I need to learn how to post pictures directly...

Looks great Greg,

Where did the pump come from?

There've been times when EE's skipper could have used a washdown after a trip out,,

Greg, for that pic here's how to post a thumbnail. Click on your album pic and open it full size. Now hover across the icons below the pic. The 5th one over (just to the left of the Facebook icon) will say "copy this code to paste in a forum". Click on that icon. In the next window copy the code that is under "post in a forum" and paste it in your post..that should do it for pics in your album..see if that works

I'll give it a try.

Hey! Success! Thanks, EE!

This is the starboard settee before the new cabinetry.

Bhacurly, the pump with a coil type hose was on sale at West Marine for $99.00. I bought the bronze through hull online somewhere for $35.00. I plan on putting a tee in the line so that I can plumb my new galley (not yet built) back into it.
