Anyone seen windows like these?

Am I dreaming or do they just screw on from the outside? Could it be that easy?

Indeed they do. If you remove the screws, the frame and the portlight material will come out in one piece. The frame you see on the inside if the cabin will stay.

The outer frames will come apart into 2 c-shaped halves, with a rubber channel holding the lexan in place.

If you remove them be careful not to bend them the frames while prying them loose from the hull, they are a bit soft. I found a very very wide putty knife helped in that regard !

That doesn't sound hard or even time consuming. Mine are tinted and crazed over. It would be nice to be able to see out from the cabin. I notice that you don't have a window in the v-berth. Does this look standard, or does it look like it was removed? I have a window there is just like the older style windows, but that whole area is rough so I can't tell when it was installed. I also have two windows in the cockpit that are the older style.

As near as I can tell, there was no window in the vberth area at any point.

I went with clear portlights, than cut some thin tinted material to use as a clip-on inside the cabin. And curtains as well.

I had somebody tell me that down here where we live the dark portlights would capture a lot of heat and expand and contract more in the frames more than the clear. Don't know if that was valid or not, didn't matter as I wanted clear anyway, but it is a thought.
