Mast foot Starwind 223

I'm not exactly sure where to put this question so I'll put it in general. I have just hauled a 1985 Starwind 223 from the Ohio River area to the Galveston Bay area. She's a good looking boat overall. But I have discovered that there is no cast aluminum mast foot on the mast.

So the questions are:

1) Does this mast actually have a foot?

2) If so, where do I find one?

3) Baring that, where do I find the dimensions?

With respect to the third question, I have a small machine shop and could machine one from aluminum stock taking the dimensions directly from the mast itself, but my equipment is not CNC so it would take a bit of doing.

Hey, those are nice ! I've never been able to find any good sources for the post_Chrysler Starwinds as far as manuals go, wanted some more info for here, but there also is a user group over at

I just checked there and there are some recent posts, as well as a few 223's in Texas. Good Luck, congrats on a nice boat !!
