I think of this picture as a shot of forshadowing. This is the last pic of my mast still standing tall, with it's "maker" lurking in the background.

This guy had front row seats to an unexpected mast de-stepping. I'm pretty sure I heard him laugh as I shamefully walked by.

Nice ! I do love a blue sailboat, when I painted the Cal21 there was never any doubt what color she'd be !
