Moving On Up!
Moving On Up!
I made a verbal agreement to purchase a bigger boat last night. It's a Columbia 9.6 in very sound condition but needs some TLC and updates. We plan to sail her across the lake, Holland, MI to Racine, WI in a little over a week if the weather man is agreeable.
Copacetic will be for sale shortly, I just have some cleanup to do and finish up the trailer work I've been doing this summer. I'll keep you posted, as I'd really like to see her go to a good home.
I'll still check in here from time to time to see if I can offer any "been there, done that" advice, and just to get my Chrysler fix.

By the way, Eric, manager at Crescent Shores Marina where we found our new boat, owns a 1979 Chrysler 26 with a red hull. It was about three boats away from the Columbia we bought. Dang Chryslers are everywhere! LOL

I spent the better part of a week getting the brightwork in shape. I think it last saw varnish during the Clinton administration. Pictures and story on my website as always.
BTW, I used Cetol Naturual Teak and I think it came out nice, without the usual Cetol look.
