New C22 Owner

Hi Folks,
I have just bought a nice 1978 Chrysler 22, my first sailboat. She seems to be in good shape mostly, but there are a few things to work on. The galley was removed by some previous owner, but that is ok. The mast electrical wiring needs to be replaced since the insulation is brittle and falling off. Overall she has a really good hull and deck, rigging and fair sails. The first thing is to make a mast-raising system like Captain Scott posted recently. This group will be very helpful. I have already learned a lot just reading the past discussions. I will try to include a link to a photo of her later when I figure out how.

I'd be glad to help you out anyway I can as you work your mast raising system! There are several folks here that have made systems that are similar yet different. Look around at their ideas too! Take the best that works for you and run with it!!
