C26 Grapevine Texas

While walking the docks I came across a VERY unloved C26 that I am sure would be very, very cheap. If anyone is interested I can take some exterior photos. She is in a slip, I have no idea if there is a trailer.

Trying to figure the C26's out. There seems to be two bow types. One that extends the topdeck all the way out like a C22 and this type that snubs the line off and creates that flat plane from left to right. Am I seeing this right and can someone explain. I'm casually looking for a 26 but want to keep the lines I've come to love with my 22

Alan is correct. The models before 79 have the sloping deck from mast to bow, and have no anchor locker. 79 and 80 have the deck that drops off in front of the forehatch and has an anchor locker.

I'm never sure if the 79-80 config loses headroom ahead of the forehatch, but gains it at the forehatch with that bump up..or if the vberth headroom is the same in both configs and the 79-80 has a lot more headroom near the head.

I feel a graphics project coming on !

Edit: Looking at a couple pics side by side, I think the 79-80's lost VBerth Headroom. The forehatch is at the same height, and the 77 does slope to the bow with a curved top. The 79 drops to the height of the toe rail with a nearly flat deck.

So with the lost headroom, and the addition of the anchor locker, the Vberth on the 79-80 is much smaller than on the 77-78's. Whuch explains why I can't see two people getting in there comfortably.
