Forword door

Thanks to sailbob2 I now have a door on the forword cabin, nice fit an mach. ???But when I open door from cabin to head ther is about a 4" gap between door a bolkhead, Gap runs the length of door. Am I missing smothing hear, do I need another dood for the head??? I also got the companionway stairs fram sailbob2, an it fit rate in all the bolt holes lined up. Good to have stairs

EE has a gap as well - if I remember right the bulkhead above the door is flat when closed, but the cabin roof over the VBerth is rounded. Plus there's a slight step up into the head but not into the berth.

I have that gap as well....

EE explained it but I always thought the gap at the top was for ventilation fo rthe head and the gap at the bottom was to poke your toes out as there is no other conceivable way to do # 2 ( or # 1 for ladies) in that head with the door closed w/out a way for your feet to stick out....

It sure would be nice to have a small deck hatch in the head.... I had one in the J-30 and then it would simply keep the SunShower on deck all day and then poke the showerhead part through the deck hatch into the head and then have a really nice hot shower at the end of the day!!!

exactly. And you can't, ah, stand up and be anywhere, ah, close,in there either.

Chrysler 20%26 (Bob) Now that I think about it I seem to remember an upper bulkhead peice. I'll see if I can find it
