Refinish inside of main and fore hatch

Hello, i'm getting ready to refinish the underside of my main and fore hatch with west epoxy, using west 207 hardner. I thought I'd pressure wash then etch the raw fiberglass with a strong solution of TSP (trisodium phosphate) to help the new epoxy bind. Have any of you done this, and does anybody have suggestions for a better way to renew the finish. Thanks, Jim
