Nah, just trying to offer advice.
You should go sail a Mac so you can offer first hand experience as to exactly why you do not like them. If you've never sailed a Mac, and have never boarded one and looked her over, then yes, you have become a bit of a snob! LOL!
Take him out on your Chrysler and let him decide!!

Macgregor 26
Four or five years ago, I allmost got a Macgregor 26. $20,000 & a 50 hp merk $6500. = $ 26500. Three days befor I was to go get it , I got on e-bay an bid on a Mac. 25. I got the 1985 25' Mac. $1300.00 ( The 25 is a sailboat ) I don't know what to call the newer Mac.26. Just glad I don't have one.

"Sailboat Snob", ya maybe a little, but that comes with brand loyalty. Which you will find in most any boat owner. All boats have there points, positve and negitave, It's a owners personal preference what choice they make, how and why. I've always enjoyed my time on the water, weather it be in a rowboat or a 42' Whitby...enjoying time on the water is what it's about
