Work on my C-26
It has now been three years, sence I made the tripe to N. J. to get my C-26. An as yet it has not been in the water. But it is looking good, my be next week I can put it in the water. All the boat needed, fix cabin leeks, wax, an botom paint. But I have to do it? Every year I but a boat in that I don't have to work on. Last year the c-20, year befor that the Mac. 25. When the weather is nice, I like sailing, not working on sail boats. But this year the c-26 has been inside, a heated bilding all winter. So I got the work done.

Good luck on the launch I could not wait till my C-26 was done so I am doing more work now before I put her in.

working on C26

I know this is an old post, but the remark about working on you c26 for three years caught my eye (you are not alone). The factors are not the same, but I may well be looking at the same time frame. The 1980 c26 I'm overhauling, which I've named Pandora is true to her name. The mental list of things to do both large and small grows daily. Working ten hour days at my job and yard work on the weekends leaves me little time for Pandora. By the way her name may change my family does not seem to appreciate the irony. Don't get me wrong, I'm not down hearted over all of this nor I'm I looking for sympathy. It's just a new splash time for this c26 may well be further in the future than I had first anticipated.
