WHALES TODAY! Added photo links!!

Yes!

The whales are back in town! Today we were on Destiny our 40'er and spied some grey whales! THese guys are 35-40 feet in length! All the local folks to Puget Sound or better yet, the Everett area, should make an effort to get out and see them! It is FANTASTIC! We've seen them MANY times over the years and STILL LOVE IT like the first time!

Tomorrow I head out in Lady Jo our C22. I really hope to see 35-40 foot whales in our 22 foot boat! Nothing in the world is more humbling to me! I will indeed be prepared to take many photos if we see them again!!

I'll post todays shots shortly and if I see them tomorrow I'll post them seperately and try to get a shot with some of the Chrysler and a whale in the same photo! Should look cool!

What time frame are they there for?? I'm off now for a while post surgery, have a couple appointments this week followup, maybe we could sneak over for a quick trip. I can call when convenient for you to check some possible times.

That would be cool if you could get the whale and Lady Jo in the same frame I love the other Pics on your page. Have a great time Scott.

Funny, Another boater took a shot of us with two whales in the back ground! I hope they deliver on their promise to provide copies of the photos!

No big deal except to show you there is no ZOOMING on those particular photos! The whales WERE THAT CLOSE!!!

Note for Captain Scott-from Mrs EE.
I have enjoyed your pictures so much-my father was USCG on an '82 and bouy tenders. He patroled the straits and enjoyed the whales so much. When you post-I go back to places and memories of the northwest and where I grew up! You know-mountains, snow, real seasons and you can go outside in summer and not melt.

Thanks again-I hope to drag Mr. EE up there to experience "God's country". All support appreciated..........

Beautiful Pics, makes me very jealous. I have only made it to the Northwest once and think I may have to do it again.

Great Pics Scott thank you for sharing and I go to your site often for photo's. I enjoy and wish I could go northwest it looks great. A friend of mine with a 26 Bristol grew up in B.C. and tells me how beautiful it is.
Still trying to convince the wife to visit her sister in Wa.

I just might do that. I have a dear friend in Olympia who holds a Master's Near Coastal 100 Ton license and she actually taught me much of what I know. She usually comes east for the visits, but we have been talking of a trip out.
