2nd outing was a success!

Post by klassi1 »

Took my parents out tonight for a sail. They race a Laser 28, so standards are high. Dad thought the little boat sailed quite nicely! We had a nice breeze and hit 5 knots on his GPS. There is a hum from the keel cable - nice light tone about 2.5 kts and a deeper tone at 4.5-5 kts. Do others have this happen or is my boat just quirky. When do you know you have hit the goove?

Can't wait for more fun this summer!

OH YEAH, you'll get used to the hum. :) If it stops, you'll know it's time to adjust the sails.
