OK Folks,
I have not forgotten about this idea at all! In fact the opposite!
I'm desparately trying to get commitments for other stuff in August nailed down!
Once I have those nailed I can select dates for a sail in!
My brother is getting married in August, my daughter is in an extremely competative Marching band and camp is coming, etc etc.
As soon as these dates are firm, I'll be setting a date for a get together!! I'd hat to set up a sail and then not make it myself LOL!
Keep an eye on this post! I will be updating it!!

I've beentrying to track down the folks from a long time ago on the forum that were close to us. So far I've gotten contact with only one family, and the sold there boat. They are interested in a ride on our boats though.
The other folks I've been dead ending on but I'm still looking.
Thanks
Alan

Hold the Phones!
Mark your calanders!
Clear your schedules!
Come one, Come all!
Bring your cameras!
Bring your beach toys!
Bring your swimsuits!
Bring your Chryslers!
PNWCSPMDWC
the very FIRST Pacific Northwest Chrysler Sail In, Paddle in, Motor in, trailer in, Drive in, Walk in , Crawl in is on the schedule!
OK then! Here is the deal,
August 8th and 9th!!
Location:
Kayak Point click for details
This is a simple over nighter where you can bring your Chrysler and just hang out with other Chrysler owners.
I will bring Destiny. With Destiny, I will have a pair of Sea Kayaks and a 10' dinghy for ship to shore service as needed.
For those interested in bringing a boat but are tentative about over night anchoring, this is an ideal chance to spend time in a group anchoring overnight and not being ALONE! We can raft up during the day and help set everyones anchors properly overnight!
Kayak point does have a boat launch, beaches, camping for those without a boat, and even some cabin type facilities.
This is YOUR chance to see other Chrysler Sailboats, swap ideas, swap tales, and trade tips! Not to mention the social aspects!
PLEASE RSVP me or here, so we can know who to expect.

Hey all!
I have only 1 person set up to go here!
I have enilisted one of my neighbors to sail Lady Jo for me so we will have one of my Chryslers, Destiny, and Honu there!!!
There is the slim possibility that my daughter may bring our second Chrysler. We are waiting for a date she is commited to, to get nailed down!
Any more takers??
Come on everyone!

Thanks EE:
I have a question,
Anyone think I should do a Craigslist add for the Chrysler get together?
Right now the only commitments I have are one of my boats and Alan.
I do have a list lurker who expressed interest but I have not heard back from him nor have I seen him sign up on the list.
I have no problem keeping it small but the more boats and owners that show up the more ideas and things we can share or swap!

I vote go Craigslist for the Chrysler invite, maybe we'll get some power boat people too.
Thanks

OK then!
I will do it!
I will start activily pinging Craigs List.
As a start, I say we plan on arriving at noon at Kayak point, bring your own lunch.
Do a pot luck type of dinner, I can host on Destiny or we can do it ashore.
I would then offer Destiny for a breakfast gathering. I can do a mess of scrambled eggs and maybe bacon or sausage for everyone!
Destiny will have a pair of Sea Kayaks on board and a Dingy for some other entertainment too.
Other ideas anyone???

Sorry folks,
So far Alan was the only forum member that commited to going to this get together. I know of others that wanted to go but now is not a good time. My neighbor will have to understand.
The reason I've postponed this is there is a need to deliver a 36' sloop on the same weekend. It will take two days.
Since Alan is the only taker on the Chrysler get together, I have invited Alan to crew on the delivery.
So before you feel bad for Alan, he will spend the Saturday night on 36' of plastic instead of 22'.
My apologizes to any members, lurkers, or otherwise who may have planned to go but did not commit.
If there is truely a desire to get a crowd together I will set another date however if it is just Alan and Billy, we can get together without bothering the whole forum!
