C20 sailboat

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum.I have formaly owned a Venture 24, A Slipper 17 and a couple of catamarans. I'm currently pondering the purchase of a C20. I have looked all over the web and have found limited information on this boat. I have found the owners manual and some pics of other C20's but, no real info on boat operation. I would love to hear from anyone with first hand information on how this boat sails and what conditions one could operate this boat under. Thanks, Jeff

C-20 came in Gold with white strip or white with gold strip. The hull is just like the C-26 only wider for it's size. (bouth the C-20 & C26 have a 8' beam) I wish the C-26 had a 10' or 12' beam, then it would sail as will as the C-20. It has the most rome in the back the any of the Chryslers. Over all I would say the best boat made by Chrysler. Safe sound an fast. I have had my C-20 out sailing with 30 to 40 m.p.r. wind, 5 to 6 foot waves. An felt safe had a lot of fun. You will ned an extra long saft out board 5 h.p. With the 8' beam it does not rock much side to side, but rockes a lot for & aft. Out bord comes out of water.

Jeff is to pick up the C-20 today, sail ready, but no cushens, trailer,moter. He has a trailer, boat is white with gold stripe. I am vary sure he will be happy with the boat. Hope He will keep us posted. An what a deal he payed $600 I payed $2400 for my C-20, an I think I got a good deal. C-20 & C26 two boats I got to know an love. P. S. had another great day sailing

Hello, Made the 3 1/2 hr drive to Smith Mt. lake today and picked up my new C20. Kind of took a chance with this bost as I did'nt even know Chrysler made a 20 footer until I saw It on craigs list two weeks ago. Been scouring the web like crazy finding any info on this boat I could, which was'nt much.
The previous owners meet me at the ramp as promised with the 20 in tow. To my relief, I was pleasently surprised. The boat was quite dirty from setting in the water uncovered for some time but very sound with a nice suit of sails including (to my surprise) a nearly new genoa, felt like a new dollar bill. She loaded on my trailer just fine. With a stop at the nearest car wash to spray down the bottom and a couple of adjustments on my trailer off we went south on I81. Home for now but, tomorrow it's to the hanger for some serious clean and polish. Sometimes taking chance works out. Thanks to all for the replys to my C20 questions.

Well, congratulations ! And welcome aboard again. There's a C20 for sale near me in Lafayette, and it is tempting.
