Truck sinks while retreveing boat

Not My Truck, There is a guy the has been putting his boat in at my bruthers for years. A lot of the time he would leve his truck on the ramp an triler in the water all day wile he went fishing. But yesterday he an a frend but the boat in an bouth men where out of the truck, back by the boat ( 22' fishing boat ) when some thing let loos. An down the ramp goes the truck clear out of cite. No one was heart, but the truck my now be junk. We may do the roung thing a 1,0000 times but ... SAFTY FIRST

Man. Leaving it on the ramp all day. Luck finally just ran out I guess.

I always use wheel chocks when I launch and retreive!
I'd even rather have them on my front wheels than do without!

I was not there to see it, would have taken Photos. I made up a 2 x 4 ( in the shape of a T . If I must get out of truck at ramp, living the engen running, I use the wooden t to hold the break down, put it between seet an break pedal. Then shift to Park, get out an block weals. Using the hand break on an older car or truck, will thay tend to stick an wear out the back breaks an drums. Allway's Better To Have Two, one to hold break an one to wouk with boat. Happy Sailing
