Found a C-22 fixed keel on CL for sale

Alan your such a tease. That seems like a great deal for someone wanting to get into sailing or even just long over nights on the sound.
Not sure what your water depths are like there but here, the water can get shallow quick . We seem to have what I think is the best boat for the area. We have as much cabin/interior room as some 34' sailboats. the 4' draft means we can get out in low tide. We also seem to like sailing it more then alot of other people do there boats. yea

Next weekend there is something called the Famingo run at Cape Lookout that we think we are going to join in. Are temps have been in the 90*s for weeks and its not summer yet. Adding... building 12v fans to my boat list.

Oh but wait, here's another one for, only $900 that popped up. No photo's though. AND it's on a trailer!

I've asked for the photo's, lets hope this ones a dog or I'll be in big trouble for having 2 boats.

Say Captain Scott can I hide a 2nd C-22 at your house?

Yeah, I too asked for photos on the boat and trailer ... . . .

heh heh!

It seems the boom and sails are gone on that boat. The owner has them on another boat and might negotiate the sell of sails for her.

Sounds like a situation I'll avoid.

Yea, I got the photo's too. No galley, no table, no sails, missing cushions. The photo's look like the pulpit is all bent up, hatch boards need work, license is falling off the trailer, etc.

But it's still too good to be a parts boat! Only because the parts it has are already good on my boat.

Did I say that!?

No seriously this $900 boat and trailer could be real nice all fixed up for maybe another $500 in repairs and elbow grease. Plus another $1200 in new sails and a boom. Oh yea and a good used motor for say $500. Really well fixed up ones on trailers seem to go for about $4000 and up around here. I'd buy it if I had the time to fix it right, with the hope of a profit.

Except for the bent pulpit it sounds like its in better shape then when I got my C-22 as far as parts. I had no boom,sails,trailer or clue

Lets hope someone see's its potential. And really I haven't seen any better looking sailboats in this size.
