I am looking into setting up a boomkicker on the 26 does anyone have any photo's or ideas?

Seems like I recall Windward being equipped with one - if Jeff doesn't sail by in a bit, drop him an email...

REDUX came equipped with one and I have mixed feelings about the thing. It does keep the boom horizontal with the weight of the main on it but there is a false sense that you can hang on to the boom for hand hold support, you can't. As soon as you release the main sheet the boom heads for the sky. It also jams the goose neck slide at the mast. I would like to add a down haul at the goose neck but I can not move the slide with the Boom Kicker installed. Those fiberglass rods store lots of energy so you need to use some caution when installing the unit. I am tempted to install a topping lift for next season
