I decided I can't miss this and will also be there on Saturday. Has anyone decided to meet while there? I'd be up for that!

We'll be there, shirts on and I'll wear my C26 hat too. I had originally thought about arranging a meeting point and time, but that's hard to do at the boat show.

We'll be in and out of seminars and boats. Hope to see you there!

We walked in and before you could say "jibe ho" met up with J42 and his lovely wife. It's always nice to put faces with forum posts.

We ended up going for 2 days, which allowed us to do more seminars without missing out on everything else or feeling rushed. We didn't go on "Ocean", the lines were always too long.

Favorite boat: Island Packet 38 (I think).

I found a few items to purchase but delayed buying one of the $10 boat hooks too long and they were gone. He who hesitates is lost.

Sorry, my phone was dying so I didn't get a bunch of pictures. But there's one here:

Is it summer yet?

It was wonderful to meet Tom. We also had a great time.
We went throught the show a little quicker than in some years.
This was our 6 year going and we kinda know what we wanted to see.
My wife and I were excited about the all new Beneteau 41 and 45 Oceanis.
We have loved the 41 since it came out and this year was an all new design, and we of course, fell in love with the 45.
It is an amazing boat for the money. Lesser boats are coming in $40-80k higher than the 45.
We too, decided not to go on the Pinnicle racer, lines we horible.
Always a great weekend in Chicago.

Can't wait till next year.
